Jayson Seaman

Jayson has been working to advance experiential education in school and community settings for 20 years, as a classroom teacher, district and state-level program manager, and now as Associate Professor of Kinesiology/Outdoor Education and Affiliate Faculty of Education at the University of New Hampshire.
His research and teaching interests include learning and development in non-school settings, diversity, and historical and social foundations of education. He is particularly interested in how collaboration helps people stretch beyond what they can do on their own, especially in the context of activities that have meaning in their community and the wider society.
